hi.. met this really good and a 'hearted' lawyer. tried a lot, the case is really weak and doenst really stand, cz that grandmother of the girl, whose consent is needed, is missing. tried to wrig the definitions this way or that.. doesnt amount to much. only hope- one newspaper report mentioned about this lady who wanted to move the court for the girl's abortion. just pray that she could get the affidavits done and stuff. thats the latest.
Hmm...in d absence of a relative , shuldnt d orphanage be her legal guardian ? I mean d lil grl gotta hv somebody she cn call her own......bt u knw more bout d situation than i do n im sure u r doin all thts possible...so if u say d case is weak it must be.

no one is allowed to meet the girl, cz the investigations are on..she is in 'solitary confinement' in snehalya.. not a very appealing situation anyway.. hoping to read the newspaper tommorow with some good news, though that sure sounds horrible, for which one of the two is a lesser evil, i dont know!
Like gettin violated by tht pig wasnt enuf...she now has to be in 'solitary confinement', indian law n order sure is messed up. A therapist/friend is wot she needs at d moment and not d confinement of four walls wid a baby in her belly....

If the newspapers are to be believed then the grandmother is back on the scene and has filed a petition for abortion as the "natural guardian". Yay for the granny!!! The petition mentions a decision needs to be made before 20 weeks...so, let the countdown begin for a favorable decision. Keep praying!
hey ya.. all this happened.. the medical board is constituted and the tests are on.. sept 13 the next hearing and i think by next week not just the go ahead will be given, but also the work done! and trust me, its now i know how power can really be used in some implicit behind the scene manner..seems like justice is here..maybe just around the corner!
and oh! for the record.. the alleged culprit is a father of two, works as a musician at a place of worship!..as if things were not already outrageous! and also, apparently, this is not the only rape of a minor, the newspapers yesterday covered about 7 such cases since 2007 maybe..just that thankfully the girls didnt conceive! the govt is gung ho about bringing in the child abuse bill this winter session, which has been lying like dead paper since a couple of years! phew!
dont think 13th wud be the end of it, but shud culminate the next week. only a fool will bother challenging the order (that is if the abortion is allowed) further!
and since this prayer congregation is so strong, there is a lady dog with a huge bad wound on her back,been sent to PFA for treatment. plz do pray that they drop her back after treatment, for she belongs here and even has adopted this small cute patched pup whom she is bringing up... though i intend to do all that should be necessary to get her back, and even try and visit her at PFA, but still.. she is too nice to be missing from our sector!
oh ya!went to meet her doctor yesterday.. poor girl was in quite a bad condition- almost 200 maggots had already infected her more than visible wound. some sunshine, medicine and lots of love is gonna cure her, and i extracted a promise, to send her back, from her doc, who too, likes her! so lets just hope for the best!
